Today we recognise the importance of World Environment Day.

⚠️More than 20 million tons of plastic waste ends up in seas, rivers and lakes every year.

⚠️Approximately 400 million tonnes of plastics are produced annually, half are single-use and less than 10% are recycled.

⚠️Microplastics, plastic particles smaller than 5 mm in diameter, invade food, water and air.

⚠️Plastic products that are discarded not only harm human health and biodiversity, but also pollute all types of ecosystems, terrestrial and marine.

To solve this crisis, it is vital that governments and the private sector develop and promote effective measures that take advantage of scientific advances and solutions that already exist and are within everyone’s reach, such as recycling.

Reuse, reduce and recycle are initiatives present in the day-to-day work of Esparity Solar’s offices, because every action counts, no matter how small ♻️
