Our DNA is 100% renewable and sustainable

It is in our DNA to create a sustainable future where every home will be able to access 100% renewable energy

Steps we are taking to improve biodiversity
  • Understand the environment to determine what actions need to be taken.
  • Ascertain which species favour pollination to increase the flora in the area.
  • Ensure that the land is returned to its original state once the installation has reached the end of its lifespan.
  • Implement birdlife monitoring programmes.
  • Facilitate passage of animals with game fencing.
Medium sized plants < 50MWp
  • We are committed to creating photovoltaic plants of a size which reduces the impact on the environment and contributes to respecting the natural habitat of fauna and flora.
  • In so doing, we endeavour to have a lower impact on local stakeholders and existing infrastructures.
Suitable site with minimum impact on the landscape
  • We secure rights over land where the installation of photovoltaic plants will have a favourable impact on the environment.
Local economic development
  • We promote the involvement of inhabitants of the area, favouring local economic development, promoting employment and establishing links with local entities.
Communication with key local players
  • We emphasise transparent communication with our local partners. That is why we establish communication channels with local agents: entities, companies, associations and neighbours.

"Our commitment is to decarbonise the economy by delivering solar energy, which is the most economical technology, whilst respecting the environment and local ecosystems".

James Sibony – CEO, Esparity Solar
